Founded in 1994, Jiangsu Air & Sea Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd. (JASFF) is a Class A international freight forwarder based in Nanjing. Its staff of 100 work in Nanjing, Suzhou, and the Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

Its founding business was bonded warehousing of air freight and air freight forwarding. Air freight forwarding is its core business. JASFF holds a Class A license for air freight and has signed contracts with airlines including Air China, Cathay Pacific Airways, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, etc. Its annual cargo volume, including both imports and exports, is around 3,000 tons. Air exports make up about 60% of the cargo volume and air imports 40%. The export shipments are mainly from Nanjing to North America, Europe and Singapore and the import shipments are mainly from North America, Europe and Taiwan. Electronics, garments, and chemicals are the main commodities handled.

JASFF has solid experience in bonded warehousing of air cargo and it holds a customs broker license. It is easy for JASFF to handle imports customs clearance and entry-exit inspection and quarantine (EEIQ) declarations. JASFF has good relationship with the customs office.

There are 10 employees handling the operation in the Nanjing Lukou International Airport. It has five bonded trucks to transport shipments of bonded cargo and deliver the goods for customs clearance. In peak season, JASFF can use dedicated trucks for pickup and delivery to match customers’ demands.

JASFF is licensed to handle hazardous goods. It has eight employees that hold Hazardous Certificates approved by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). JASFF is a professional in international air freight including hazardous goods.

Its customer list includes Compal Electronics, Inventec Appliances and Ju Teng International. JASFF has more than 30 long term customer relationships. There are many manufacturers in Jiangsu invested by Taiwanese companies. JASFF is experienced in working with Taiwanese companies and has good relationship with them.

JASFF does not have strong network in China. However, it is a strong air freight forwarder in Nanjing with some business in Beijing, Suzhou and Shanghai. It uses agents overseas. According to General Manager, Mr. Eddy Zhu, JASFF plans to open a new warehouse project in Nanjing. Eddy Zhu will keep me posted on this project. Maybe it will create an opportunity to cooperate with overseas partners.
